One of the world's leading figures in youth empowerment and social entrepreneurship, Marc Kielburger is a truly inspirational individual and a fascinating keynote speaker.

Marc Kielburger is a fascinating keynote speaker and an inspirational person; he is the co-founder of the international charity ‘Free the Children’.

‘Free the Children’ is the world’s largest child focused charity and has introduced creative new programmes that involve hundreds of thousands of young people in Canada, the UK and the US. The charity works in eight developing countries and has so far built 650 new schools, which have provided education for more than 55,000 children.

So far ‘Free the Children’ has been a great success and the charity has already formed relationships with some of the best school boards and corporations, some of these include KPMG, Oprah’s Angel Network and Research in Motion. Every year Marc and his brother Craig organize a day called ‘We Day’, the event is televised with more than 5.4 million viewers and has over 2milion followers on Facebook.

In addition to ‘Free the Children’, Marc has also co-founded ‘Me to We’, a social enterprise he set up with his brother. ‘Me to We’ is a business made up of environmentally friendly clothing, international volunteer trips, leadership training programs, a speaker bureau and books that look at positive social change in today’s world. Half of the profit made by ‘Me to We’ is donated towards ‘Free the Children’ and the other half is reinvested into ‘Me to We’ to allow it to expand further.

Marc graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University with a degree in International Relations; this was followed by a law degree at Oxford University. He has nine honorary doctorates and degrees for his work in the field of education and human rights. Along with his brother Craig, Marc writes a weekly column titled ‘Global Voices’, which appears in numerous Canadian publications. To add to his ongoing achievements, Marc has written 9 books, one of which is a New York Times best seller.

Marc has led an inspiring life and has accomplished a considerable amount from a young age, he has been awarded the Order of Canada and was named as one of the 250 World Global Leader’s by the World Economic Forum. As a speaker he has shared the stage with the Dalai Lama, Former President Bill Clinton, Former Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev, Archbishop Desmond Tutu and Sir Richard Branson. Marc is an established keynote speaker and a will impress at any corporate event.

In 2013 Marc and his brother Craig were inducted into Canada's Walk of Fame for for their humanitarian work and their efforts to emower young people to change the world.
