TV presenter, author and journalist, Martin Roberts is all of these things and a property expert. Famed for presenting Homes Under the Hammer, Martin is one of the country's most well-respected property experts and a familiar face on our television screens. Having had a vastly successful media career, Martin is well placed to host an awards ceremony, chair a seminar or present a speech at property based conference.

The name Martin Roberts has become synonymous with property  – one of the UK’s most popular TV presenters and journalists, Martin’s niche is property, lifestyle and travel. With Wish You Were Here under his belt, and Travel Editor of Woman magazine on his CV, Martin can safely be considered a leading figure of experience and expertise.

For 25 years he has appeared on BBC TV and Radio, ITV, CNN and SKY TV.  He was a regular presenter on ITV’s  ‘Wish You Were Here..?’ and more recently he has written and presented the hit BBC property auction show ‘Homes under the Hammer’, which is now in its 18th series.

Other TV credits include the Jeremy Vine Show, The Alan Titchmarsh show and BBC Radios 2, 4 & 5 Live. He was also the Property Columnist for the News of the World.

Martin’s book Teach Yourself Making Money from Property has cemented his position as a leading UK expert on the subject of property. He also presents property training workshops around the UK, and has written and published a children’s book series called ‘Herman and the Magical bus visit The Villes’.

Martin has become a popular after-dinner speaker entertaining audiences regaling tales from his television career, but is equally adept delivering advice and expertise to corporate audiences.

With mic in hand, Martin has hosted business conferences including the National Landlords’ Association conference and the Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce awards, to the Staffordshire Women’s Institute and Institute of Travel and Tourism AGMs. Martin will also bring his charisma and personality to host charity and fundraising events, where he dons his auctioneer persona to exceed the evening's financial goal.

He is the former Chairman of the British Guild of Travel Writers and a board member of the Institute of Travel & Tourism and the AIPP. Martin is a regular expert contributor to a wide range of publications, including lifestyle and property magazines. Martin has set up a UK registered charity, called ‘The Martin Roberts Foundation’ to support educational and well-being initiatives for children.
