Mark was fabulous for our event. I felt he put a lot into the event and did a lot of research which was evident on the day.

The editor-in-chief of Now and Look, Mark Frith is one of the UK’s most successful magazine editors – with Heat and Smash Hits also under his belt.

His understanding of celebrity culture is unrivalled, and his charm and experience ensure that his facilitating and awards hosting skills are in regular demand.

Mark was named editor-in-chief of Now and Look in 2015, but his career in magazines began at Smash Hits in the 90s at the peak of the Take That era – a time when UK boy Bands were dominating the international pop scene. By the age of 23, he was editor.

A move to Sky Magazine became a stepping stone to his most career defining move to the little-known Heat in 2000. When Mark took the reins at the magazine, sales increased from 50,000 to over half a million a week.

In his ten years at the title, he won nine major magazine industry awards including, in 2005, the Mark Boxer Award for outstanding achievement in magazines.

In 2009, Mark became editor of the legendary London magazine Time Out, increasing its news-stand sales for the first time in 17 years and winning further industry accolades, most notably PPA International Magazine Of The Year in 2010 and 2011.

Mark presented the BBC’s Liquid News for a year and is now a regular contributor to Radio Four’s Front Row, BBC2’s The Apprentice: You’re Fired and Radio Two’s Steve Wright In The Afternoon.

His book, The Celeb Diaries: The Sensational Inside Story Of The Celebrity Decade became a Sunday Times Top Ten Bestseller in 2008.
