Ben is also an acclaimed journalist and writer. As well as four best-selling books, he writes regularly for the Sunday Telegraph and the Independent.

He is an ambassador for Medcins Sans Frontier and WWF, a fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and the President of the Campaign for National Park’s. He is also an avid supporter of the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme and Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, as well as heading up the Campaign for National Parks.
