Angus has carved himself a niche as the consummate corporate awards host  with his dry wit, his attention to detail and his professionalism

His career took off with a programme which parodied the commercial and local British radio stations. Radio Active transmitted on BBC Radio 4 between 1981 and 1987, which he both wrote and performed in. It transferred to television as KYTV between 1989 and 1993.

Angus starred with Rowan Atkinson in the Mr. Bean episode ‘The Curse of Mr. Bean’ and in the Black Adder episode ‘Born to be King’; was a featured player in all three series of the Emmy award-winning sketch comedy series Alexei Sayle's Stuff; and, in 1990, was cast as the Meldrews' neighbour Patrick Trench in the British suburban sitcom One Foot in the Grave.

He shot to fame when he was selected as host of the popular political panel show 'Have I Got News For You' and, since then, he has presented numerous television specials including the BBC's New Year's Eve show, the BAFTA Awards, Before They Were Famous and TV Hell.

Other projects including a further episode of Radio Active, a BBC comedy Nighty Night as well as presenting ITV's cookery reality show Hell's Kitchen and the light-hearted quiz Bognor or Bust.

His feature film appearances include That Deadwood Feeling (2009,) Swinging with the Finkels (2011) and Playing the Moldovans at Tennis (2012).

In 2012, he joined the BBC drama series Waterloo Road as a cynical teacher and, for a further season, as deputy head George Windsor.

An accomplished and professional host, with brilliant comic timing, Angus is the perfect choice for awards ceremonies and other hosting.
