After graduating from Durham University in 2008, I talked myself into two weeks work experience at Speakers Corner and never left! I now head up Operations here.

Every day is different and not knowing what is going to come up each day really keeps me on my toes. Whether it’s negotiating a contract with a client, hearing a new speaker, popping down to an event to make sure everything is ok or rearranging a speaker’s travel itinerary due to bad weather – there’s always something new!

I’m usually planning at least one holiday at any time. I love travelling to new places and experiencing different cultures, and even falling into a sewer in Bali and being bitten by a piranha in the Amazon hasn’t put me off! If I’m not globetrotting, I’m probably eating. Either trying new restaurants or cooking up a storm at home - with mixed success!
